Hello -
I’m Malik, a designer and photographer based in Silver Spring, MD.  My work engages culture, community, and limitlessness with bold graphics and an animated vocabulary. My design process starts with research and writing, followed by iterative typographic and image-making explorations that  synthesize my findings. In contrast, my photography practice is intuitive and natural, balancing methodologies to tell stories, save the moment, and create form.

Emmet Byrne Lecture Poster



Using oblique as inspiration, we created different textures, printed them out and then arranged and layered them to create the composition. We took pics of the arrangement and risograph printed it using blue and green inks, changing the color order to create a few different versions.
