Hello - I’m Malik, a designer and photographer based in Silver Spring, MD. My work engages culture, community, and limitlessness with bold graphics and an animated vocabulary.
My design process starts with research and writing, followed by iterative typographic and image-making explorations that synthesize my findings. In contrast, my photography practice is intuitive and natural, balancing methodologies to tell stories, save the moment, and create form.
